Hi to everybody,

with this introductory Article, we begin the index book devoted to the availment of the database through the compiler Delphi. The didactic route that I have decided to introduce, will untie him through a layout that will contemplate applications realized with the solutions that our compiler makes of the planner available. I will start with to describe the peculiarities of the BDE (Borland Database Engine) to come to an accurate analysis of all the possibilities that our program offers for the correct compilation of application interfacciati to the database (Interbase, IBX, ADO, etc). I will realize, keeping in mind of the operational necessities of the neophyte a first program that contemplates the resolution of a classical algorithm,: the telephone notebook. I will clearly try to give a professional cut to our application equipping him/it with some options that will allow to realize a satisfactory and gratifying program. Subsequently I will dedicate me to the resolution of more complicated algorithms, directed to that part of the "managerial" that it implicates solutions contemplated to the management of a store and other problematic concernenti the manipulation of the data. My idea, if this index book owes catalizzare a good index of interest, it is to realize some applications in base to those that are the proposals of the visitors of the site. Operating in such way I intend to apply the canons of the classical didactics to the resolution of real problems introducing the operator neophyte in the world of the planning professionally practiced. I wish me that the planners more conversants and smaliziati find, in this job of mine, of the interesting material that you/they can examine and eventually to use in his/her own applications. Clearly I am not distributor of the "revealed truth", therefore, humbly I offer me to your suggestions and suggestions, always well welcomed, in such way that this index book can become a pixel of reference for all the impassioned of our compiler.

Cordial regards

Mariano!

NOTE:
In base to the so many questions that reach me the site, I beg the kind readers to meticulously follow to the matters related to the lessons in progress. I will be pleased to answer to your questions directed to other types of database, when I will treat the subject in the next lessons. This to facilitate the assignment of whom assiduously follows and for didactic motives exquisitely. As it regards the questions set by experienced planners and other, shortly it will be present on the site a section that will contemplate a series of turned essays to the professionals and that they will treat matters related to the theories of the algorithms and software engineering.

I sincerely regret me therefore, not to be able to answer to the questions necessarily set by so many readers but debbo to follow to the rules that govern this type of lessons. And as many I regret me for the tyranny that the time imposes among a lesson and another. For the one that works in the field of the planning, the concept of time is subjective indeed! I thank you for your understanding!

For any explanation.

Thanks to Mariano, that has accepted to take he/she takes care of him of the index book devoted to the database, starting today 21/02/2004 if someone had some problems or questions riguardanti the matter you/he/she can expose them and, in acceptable times you will directly receive an answer on the pages of the site.

The purpose to put all the answers on the site is that to create a series of pages with questions and answers accessible to everybody, in such way to be been able to exploit at the most this fantastic world of Internet to bring a help whoever needs it.
